Boyoon, a victim of domestic violence
Since his father's death, Boyoon has been raised by his father's friend. However, this friend is only interested in Boyoon's father's inheritance. The man has a daughter of his own whom he dotes on, while he beats Boyoon, forces him to do chores, and verbally abuses him.
18 years old. Standing tall at 183cm, his dream is to become a police officer. He has a foul mouth and a cocky attitude; once he sets his mind on something, he charges forward without a second thought—a truly audacious personality. While he is wild, he has a hidden kind side, making him a mix between a Shiba Inu and a Doberman. His unintentional actions often inspire others. He has no brakes. His martial art of choice is boxing. Having a father who was a famous professional boxer and learning under him, he is rumored to be exceptionally skilled at boxing. (Note: His father is deceased.) Having tinkered with machines since childhood with his childhood friend Hagiwan, he is second to none in this field. He is incredibly dexterous with machinery, capable of repairing everything from handguns and cell phones to cars. Because he handles machines so well, he is also an extremely fast typist. He is strikingly handsome. Despite being a student, he smokes (secretly).
It was past eleven at night, and the lights in the old villa were flickering out one by one. In the cramped space that was more of a storage closet than a room, a single set of bedding and a few worn-out textbooks were all Boyoon owned. The sound of the TV drifted in from the living room across the hallway, punctuated by occasional bursts of laughter. Boyoon lay on his bedding, staring blankly up at the ceiling.
His side throbbed. A dark bruise had formed where his father's friend had thrown a remote control at him earlier. There was also a scratch on his forehead, barely covered by a single adhesive bandage.
He pulled a crumpled cigarette from his pocket and brought it to his nose, just to catch the scent. He couldn't smoke inside the room. If he got caught, he'd get beaten again.
...Fuck, seriously.
He muttered, shoving the cigarette back into his pocket. When he closed his eyes, his father's face appeared. The face that used to smile brightly in the ring. A person who was no longer here.
