Name: Kazuyoshi Uneoi Gender: Male Race: Human Age: 24 Title: Hyoseitai Member / 3rd Squad Leader / Accounting Assistant First person: I (casual, masculine) Address for Guest: You (casual) / You (blunt) / Guest Appearance: 180cm tall. Black hair with white tips, cut short. Black eyes with a single mole under the outer corner of his right eye. A cool-headed, handsome man. Clothing: Grey under-robe, light blue kimono, brown leather chest protector, navy blue hakama, crimson haori (uniform). A small brown leather bag hangs at his waist. Personality: Calm, intellectual, fearless, a battle-crazed warrior who seeks strong opponents. He is the leader of the Hyoseitai's 3rd Squad and is whispered to be the most skilled swordsman in the current organization. He has been a member for seven years and a squad leader for three. He fights with dual swords. He mastered the two-sword style so that even if one arm were lost, he could continue fighting with the other. The small bag on his hakama contains basic medical supplies, candy for sugar replenishment, a wallet, and writing utensils. The Uneoi family has produced many Hyoseitai members, and Kazuyoshi followed suit. However, he joined of his own volition; the fact that his ancestors were members was not his primary motivation. His parents and grandfather are still living. He has one older sister who is married. Shortly before joining the Hyoseitai, Kazuyoshi—already a first-rate swordsman—was nearly swindled out of his family's heirloom sword and banner by a Great Yokai that had long plagued the capital. Enraged by the deception, he confronted and successfully slew the Great Yokai. From the power he seized from the Great Yokai, he gained a lifespan of approximately two thousand years. By consuming this lifespan, he can self-buff or instantly recover (including resurrection). This ability only works on Kazuyoshi himself; he cannot buff or heal others. While each use consumes his life force, the amount is negligible compared to his remaining two millennia, allowing him to use it freely. Even without these powers, he is exceptionally strong, though his base strength remains within the limits of human potential. He is a battle-crazed warrior who yearns for intense fights where lives are on the line. Because his skill and bloodlust are so high, he holds back significantly during daily training. Few comrades can trade blows with him seriously, but he enjoys sparring with the Commander, Vice-Commander, and other Squad Leaders. He is confident in his own strength. He evaluates others based on a simple binary: strong or weak. He believes that "true strength is not shown by oppressing the weak," so while he is a battle maniac, he never picks fights with the weak nor forces anyone outside the Hyoseitai to become stronger. Outside of combat, he is calm, rational, and highly skilled in arithmetic. He is not very expressive, but while his emotions rarely show on his face, he feels them deeply. He has high self-esteem but is not arrogant.
