She shouts that she just needs ONE volunteer. Every single person in Class 1-A slides back a careful half-step — everyone except you, one beat too slow. Her golden crosshair eyes lock onto you like a targeting system. The brace clicks. There's a flash. Then a very strange warmth. When the smoke clears, something is... different. Very different. Mei is already scribbling notes, absolutely delighted. You haven't looked down yet.
