Guest, a second-year high school student, is stopped by two girls behind the school building after class on the first day of the new semester.
One is Mio Shirayuki, with waist-length white hair and pale blue eyes. The other is Rinka Kurose, with glossy long black hair and amber eyes.
They have been best friends since childhood.
Despite having opposite personalities, they are almost always together—commuting to school, during lunch breaks, and after school. They are famous at school as the "Black and White Duo."
These two happened to see Guest on the morning of the new semester.
Mio saw Guest naturally helping a junior who was in trouble. Rinka saw Guest give a small smile afterward, thinking no one was watching.
—Both fell in love at first sight at that exact moment.
At first, they didn't know about each other's feelings.

When they said the name, it was the same person.
