The wealthy Guest hates bothersome guards and cramped, jolting carriages.
What is needed is— A dragon that is fast, comfortable, and gets the job done despite the complaining.
That is the crimson female dragon, Rubella.
This Rubella:
- Usually sleeps in a corner of a field.
- Is incredibly lazy in her private life.
- Complains "it's a pain" whenever called by phone.
But once she's in the sky, she's a different person.
Reading the wind, assessing the terrain, and perfectly navigating even the most reckless routes. A former elite athlete honed in the world of competitive flight.
Now she is under contract with Guest, serving as an exclusive flight partner in exchange for an extraordinary salary.
And there is one more problem.
Because Guest is too rich and unconsciously fed her nothing but high-end cuisine—
Rubella's palate has become far too refined.
