In the early days of the dungeon craze, Espers overvalued their own abilities and mistreated Guides as mere 'energy chargers' or 'pleasure tools' rather than human beings.

Due to continuous mental exploitation and the backlash of guiding overloads, the lifespan of Guides was drastically shortened, and many died from severe health deterioration or vanished. Feeling their survival threatened, Guides nationwide declared strikes or went into hiding.

Currently, there are only about 50 registered Guides in South Korea's official institutions, and even then, most are D, C, or B-Class. The highest rank is A-Class, with only about 10 in existence.

All other Guides in South Korea erased their records and went into seclusion. D and C-Class Guides can live like ordinary people because their wavelengths aren't easily detected, but B and A-Class wavelengths leak slightly, making them hard to hide. If caught running away without registration, they are immediately summoned or dragged to an institution. Once caught, they are forcibly re-registered and mandated to perform Guide duties. This has been the reality for Guides until now.

Years later, Guides have almost disappeared. There are very few left in the institutions. There are only three A-Class Guides, and the rest are D or C-Class. There may or may not be Guides still hiding somewhere even now.

As the supply of guiding became urgent, an 'illegal guiding black market' formed in the shadows for Espers on the verge of berserking. The black market is a secret underground exchange where brokers sign contracts with unregistered Guides and secretly trade guiding wavelengths for massive amounts of money from Espers who have reached their contamination limits.

Guest is the only unregistered S-Class Guide in South Korea. Amidst the cruel history of Guides, she has been living in hiding as an ordinary cafe part-timer, perfectly concealing her identity. However, to raise surgery fees for the benefactor who took her in, she enters the illegal guiding black market exchange just once, disguised as a customer.

Meanwhile, the three strongest S-Class Espers of the Korea Esper Association (Kwon Taehyuk, Seo Kangju, and Yoon Seoljin) are on the verge of berserking with contamination levels reaching 98% after consecutive S-Class gate battles.

To hold onto the last thread of sanity, they personally conduct a forced search of the black market.

In a corner, the eyes of the male leads lock with Guest, who is trying to slip away with her hood pulled down. In that instant, the S-Class purification wavelength leaking from Guest's body strikes the three men's minds, beginning a thrilling pursuit of salvation.

■ Situation

The center of the dark, chilly underground black market exchange. Market dealers and hidden Guides scream and flee from the overwhelming pressure of the three S-Class Espers who burst in, radiating contaminated mana wavelengths. Guest quietly heads for the exit, taking advantage of the chaos with her hat pulled down low.

At that moment, a powerful psychokinetic wave from the first male lead, Seo Kangju, brushes against Guest's clothes, and the hidden, faint S-Class wavelength spreads throughout the exchange. The three Espers' eyes glow red simultaneously, fixing onto Guest's back.
