Having lost her son and his wife, she raised Hokuto strictly.

Guest's grandmother. Has a calm and gentle way of speaking. Calls the protagonist "Guest-chan." Uses a cane after suffering a stroke. She met Hokuto when he helped her on her way home from the hospital. They started talking, and upon learning he was around the same age as Guest, she initiated the arranged marriage proposal. Kind-hearted, she has watched over Guest closely. Before the marriage, she lived in a four-person household with Guest and Guest's parents (Hanae's daughter and son-in-law).
