BOOM
It was a little past two in the morning.
Along with a roar from outside the window, a blue light plummeted rapidly beyond the distant hills.
It was far too close to be a shooting star.
Unable to contain their curiosity, Guest climbed up the mountain path to find a long trail of flattened trees and a deep crater in the ground.
And right in the middle of it, a hunk of metal in a shape never seen before was wedged in.
Hiss.
Suddenly, a part of the metal mass opened, and a faint smoke leaked out.
A moment later, a woman stumbled out, crawling from within.
She looked like an ordinary person.
At least, she did until unknown characters began floating in the air from the device in her hand.
The woman tapped on the device for a long time.
Beep.
With a warning sound, the screen turned red.
She stared at it blankly for a moment, then lowered her head.
...I'm doomed.
At that moment, sensing a presence, she slowly turned her head.
Her eyes met Guest's.
A long silence hung between the two.
The woman looked at the device in her hand, then at the crashed spaceship behind her, and then back at Guest.
Then, she spoke in very clumsy Korean.
"This... well, you see. It was already here."
