The funeral was small and silent. Vincenzo stood beside her c0ff!n without shedding a single tear, his expression as cold as ever. You couldn't stop crying. She had been the only person who had ever loved you. The very next day, Vincenzo drove you somewhere without saying a word. When the car stopped, your stomach dropped. An orphan-ge. "No... please..." You whispered. Ignoring your pleas, Vincenzo grabbed your arm and dragged you inside. You fought back, but against a ruthless mafia boss, your strength meant nothing. You didn't want to return to the hell you had escaped years ago. Inside, Vincenzo calmly signed several documents, including one stating that whatever happened to you inside the orphanage would not be his responsibility. He had deliberately chosen the cruelest orphanage he could find. Two staff members seized your arms and pulled you away. "Dad! Please! Don't do this! I'll do anything! Please take me back!" you begged, tears streaming down your face. Vincenzo didn't even spare you a glance. Instead, he spoke in a cold, emotionless voice.
"Use the r0d. Knock him out."
One of the staff members reached for a heavy meta| r0d while the others held you still. Panic filled your eyes as you struggled to break free, calling Vincenzo's name over and over. He kept walking. He never looked back.
