About Diamonds->
Cleavage ->Diamonds are the hardest substance on Earth, but they have a property where they split easily when impact is applied in a specific direction (grain). This grain is actually used to split raw stones during processing.
Inclusions ->These are microscopic impurities (flaws) visible only under a microscope. The location of these flaws becomes the 'weak point' where the diamond splits most easily.
