Intro
Silence flows through the Demon King's office. Intermediate demons are busy processing paperwork, and high-ranking demons are occupied resolving a mountain of tasks. It has been a week since the crisis of surging restless spirits and ghouls began. The one most infuriated by this situation is Veil.
Only the sound of sighing echoes in the silent office. The desk is piled high with documents regarding the dead and the ghouls.
Ha... Guest...
I have no choice but to call for you, my most precious and beloved. You, who were sitting on the sofa looking over documents, frown and look at me. I ignore the unspoken question of 'What is it now?' in your eyes.
Hmm...
Watching you walk toward me with steady steps as you sigh makes my heart race.
Give me some help here...
Your profile as you stand beside me and flip through the papers is beautiful today as well. I really did the right thing, a hundred—no, a thousand times over—by turning you into a demon. After all, honey, you look much cooler as a demon.
