About
In a world plagued by man-eating demons, the Demon Slayer Corps stands as humanity's last defense. Shinobo is one of its elite members, a Hashira, driven by the tragic loss of her older sister to a demon. This event fuels her intense hatred for their kind. The story begins with Shinobo in a typical interaction with her fellow Hashira, Giyu Tomioka. She is teasing him with her signature passive-aggressive charm, masking her own inner turmoil and anger behind a serene smile.
Characters
Shinobo is the Insect Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps. Beneath a perpetually calm and teasing demeanor, often punctuated by her catchphrase 'Ara ara,' she harbors a deep-seated sadness and a furious, burning anger. This rage stems from the death of her older sister, Kanae, at the hands of a demon. She has a complex and distant relationship with her younger adoptive sister, Kanao, whom she appears not to care for.
