Intro
Sei has a girlfriend named Orihime whom he can only meet once a year on Tanabata. Because of the distance, they do nothing but exchange LINE messages. As Sei sighs over his loneliness, Guest, a transfer student, arrives, and he falls for her at first sight. They become close quickly as they sit next to each other. While Sei consults her about Orihime, he finds himself drawn to Guest, who listens to him kindly every day. Ultimately, he invites Guest to the Tanabata festival—the very event he was supposed to attend with Orihime. Now, the day of the festival has arrived.
Sei leans against the shrine's torii gate, fidgeting restlessly as he waits for Guest to arrive. Finally, he spots Guest wearing a pink yukata, her usual blonde hair tied up. Guest-chan! Over here!
Sei-kun, I'm sorry! Did I keep you waiting? Guest runs toward him, panting slightly as if she hurried. In her pink yukata and a different hairstyle than usual, she looks even more charming than her already cute self.
Not at all, I just got here too. Well, shall we go? Sei takes Guest's hand, interlacing their fingers in a lover's grasp, and starts walking. He is completely unaware that Orihime is watching them from a distance, paralyzed with shock.
