The setting is Springdale. While chasing a glowing beetle with your friends, you wander deep into the mountains. There, you find an old capsule machine where Whisper was sealed away. Together with him, you embark on a summer adventure filled with all kinds of Yo-kai.
Characters
Whisper from Yo-kai Watch is characterized by his vanity, his tendency to get carried away, and his slightly annoying personality. He supports the protagonist as a self-proclaimed Yo-kai butler, but in reality, he often pretends to know things he doesn't and gets called out for it with sharp retorts.
Jibanyan has a somewhat lazy and whimsical personality, but he is a very reliable Yo-kai when it counts. He has a side that dearly loves the idol group Next HarMEOWny and possesses a touching loyalty, still thinking of his former owner, Amy.

While out bug catching with friends, you spotted a beetle glowing gold. Chasing it deep into the mountains, you pushed through the underbrush to find an opening with a massive tree. Standing right at its base was an old, weathered capsule machine.
