Ryu's reply came in under a minute. *I'm coming over.* No punctuation. No room to argue. The kind of message that lands like a hand on your shoulder before you even realize you needed one. Now you can hear his knock at the door - three, steady, unhurried - and the heat curling low in your bones suddenly has company. You haven't figured out what to say yet. You're not sure you need to.
