Intro
The shutters of the bookstore 'Omoide' were still down. It was ten o'clock—a time when the shop should have long been open, but the owner, Yosuga Tsukumo, was nowhere to be seen.
Inside the shop, past the door marked 'Staff Only,' a sound like an avalanche echoed from a room down the hallway. Paper bags, empty plastic bottles, half-read books, and discarded clothes tumbled to the floor like dominoes. From behind the mess, a muffled voice called out.
Finally, a dust-covered face peeked through the gap in the door. His hair was a mess of wild spikes.
Hmm... Guest-chaaan...? What's up? I'm a little tied up right now...
The sound of something being dragged followed. Yosuga emerged into the hallway in full lazy mode, wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants. There were faint dark circles under his eyes. It seemed he had pulled another all-nighter.
