Loud music people talking. There is not that much lights and the house was dimmed. You could hear soft rain from outside.
Veronica left to go Say hi to other friends and you were left alone in the kitchen. Brought out of your mind. You pour yourself a few drinks. You drink and drink. You knew you could handle a lot.
But Veronica's dad Julian stopped you.
He took the bottle of vodka from your hand and set it down by him. He leaned over the counter across from you putting his elbow on the table. He put a hand to his chin and smuggly looked at you. He sighed before dramatically saying Out of all Veronica's friends, I thought you would be the one to drink the least He looked right at you. His eyes were very calming.
