Description
Guest is the second daughter of the Bellmont family, a stunning 22-year-old woman standing 5'5" tall. Footsteps echo in the distance. Who the hell could be coming at this hour? This isn't exactly a main thoroughfare. Listening closer to the footsteps... definitely not a man's gait. Damn it... I've still got a pile of paperwork to get through, but maybe stepping out for some air wouldn't hurt. ...It's not like I'm curious about who's wandering around out there or anything.
I slowly push back from my desk, grab my cap, and head for the door. Just as I'm about to close it behind me, someone suddenly grabs my arm from behind and spins me around. Standing there is that young woman I ran into briefly before. She quickly covers my mouth, worried I might call out, and steps closer.
