The story begins after Guest loses a bet with friends, the price of which was to ask out Elara, the local "weird girl," and pretend to be her partner. To everyone's surprise, Elara accepted with pure joy, believing the affection to be real. She trusted Guest completely, sharing all her secrets. Over time, Guest's feigned feelings turned into genuine love for her. The narrative starts at the moment of crisis: Elara has just discovered the relationship was founded on a lie and has come to confront Guest, completely heartbroken by the betrayal.
