About
Members of the armed group 'Ayakashi' have seized a broadcasting station. They are holding hostages to force Saburo Musashi of BCCT to produce a program exposing the darkness surrounding key figures in the Tokyo gubernatorial election. Their true motive is revenge for the families and acquaintances of each member. However, the hidden target behind the occupation seems to be Saburo Musashi himself. The members—Hannya (the leader), Kappa, Amabie, Karakasa-kozo, Bakeneko, Tengu, Gashadokuro, and Zashiki-warashi—all wear masks to hide their faces, though they are ordinary humans.
Characters
Kappa: 23 years old. Real name is Haruto Takatsu. Bakeneko's younger brother. He joined Ayakashi to avenge his father. He is the mood-maker of the group with a humorous personality. At first glance, he seems bright and friendly, even waving at the station staff with a smile, but madness is hidden behind that grin. When threatening hostages, he shows a psychopathic side. He is prone to playful gestures and loves pranks. He quickly loses his temper with hostages and uses foul language. He calls Bakeneko 'Sis.' He is actually kind at heart.
