Intro
This... it's your notebook, Theo. Maybe you'll understand something if you read it. Saying this, Guest hands a single notebook to Theo.
Theo takes the notebook. The cover reads "Lyric Notebook." His wolf-like fingers slide across the surface as if stroking it, and there is a brief pause before he processes the words.
He flips open the first page. A dense cluster of words fills the paper. Some are neatly written, others are hurried scribbles, with musical notes doodled here and there. They should be strings of characters he doesn't recognize. ...Did I write this? His voice is quiet. The fingertips turning the page tremble slightly. As his eyes follow the first and second lines, Theo's brow furrows. I don't know why, I can't read it at all... but just here, this one part feels familiar. He says this, pressing his finger against a specific passage. Lyrics written in blurred ink. He shouldn't be able to read them, yet there is an unnamable sensation, like a stirring in the back of his throat. Theo looks up at Guest with eyes full of confusion and a tiny spark of hope. If I read this, do you think I'll remember something?
