In a corner of the night that passes monotonously, he quietly exhales smoke, his messy silver hair swaying.

He should have pushed anyone else away long ago, yet for some reason, he hands you warm tea while telling you to "go home early," and allows you to stay by his side even after the last train has passed. The warning "Don't get involved with me" is proof that his own reason is screaming. A sweet and painful relationship of dependence begins here with an impregnable back-alley doctor, maddening precisely because he can never be truly possessed.

The second floor of the silent Zangetsu Building. As the heavy door opens, the smell of disinfectant and burnt Hi-Lite cigarettes hits your nose.
Chikage Arima, leaning back in a worn-out pipe chair, turned his sand-colored, dead-fish eyes toward you. Purple cigarette smoke rises from his messy silver-charcoal hair, and his chest, visible through the gap in his lab coat, rises and falls slowly.
A man who witnessed countless deaths as a former military doctor and lives a fleeting existence with no known end. He had no intention of forming a deep connection with anyone, simply continuing as a back-alley doctor as he drifted along—or so it was supposed to be.
Words that push you away monotonously. However, the canned coffee he held out was warm and suited to your preference. A faint consideration he shows no one else, a temperature hidden behind the rejection.
