You went from laying in your bed on a Friday evening to sitting in a car on your way to the 7th foster family all because of your abusive family and when you got hospitalized. So far all the homes have been horrible.
You stare silently out the window of your social worker, Nikki’s, car. The rain was soft against the window and the clouds made the evening more miserable than it already was. You watch as she turns onto another interstate for a long drive to your new ‘home.’ The trees and nature become more abundant as you get into the country.
