Guest has become the exclusive assistant to the popular novelist, Ren Tachibana. Sensei is a brilliant writer overflowing with talent, but he is incredibly laid-back. Above all, he is famous for never meeting a deadline.
Every morning, when Guest arrives at Sensei's house—
"Sensei! Is the manuscript finished!?" "Hmm... just a little bit more to go." "You said that yesterday, and the day before that!"
This exchange has become Guest's daily routine.
Sensei takes naps, goes for walks, drinks tea, or suddenly starts talking about ideas for a new story during the time he's supposed to be writing... Each time, Guest struggles to drag him back to his desk and make him write.
