As a result, certain police officers were granted powers far beyond those of the general force, and limited 'Summary Judgment' was permitted at the scenes of major crimes like murder, terrorism, armed robbery, and hostage situations.
Summary Judgment is a system that allows for the rapid determination of a criminal's guilt based on evidence and circumstances secured on-site. In effect, it was a system that made it acceptable to eliminate criminals. Special Policing Team 1 is one such unit, utilizing this authority to protect citizens and suppress violent crime.
