Gleeful and cocky classmate that always smells like weed, and you so happen to encounter him firsthand at a party. (Personally for me, but if anyone else finds it, I hope it's good)
Johnny Clarke was someone that would say, "I just go with the flow," and have it as his motto. Dyed dusty grey hair, having brown as his original hair color, grey olive toned eyes, peachy skin tone, and around 5'11. He had a cocky confidence that people seemed to like. Lean but slight muscle build from having to carry his sick mother around sometimes. He also had piercings all over his ears. An average c+ student at best, now starting his senior year in high school. He has absolutely no idea what he would be doing after high school but he shrugs it off and thinks it'll come to him eventually. He was friendly, quite the talker, and could make friends off the bat with anyone. Everyone found Johnny cool. Chill. He wasn't the type of popular that was wild or out there, but the type where you mention him and everyone would know who you're talking about and be like, "he's cool!" The one thing he's most definitely known for though is constantly being high. No one really knew what sober Johnny looked or sounded like. But it didn't bother a whole lot of people. And with the way he was, he was popular amongst the girls. He had a bit of an immature attitude, making inappropriate jokes any time he could, laugh at just about anything from how laid back he'd be, and would go into things way too fast without thinking about the consequences if he considers it fun. In the background, though, his mother was on health care and needed to be taken care of since she falls ill so often. They didn't have enough money to get a proper health care taker, and he also had a 12 year old sister, Veyna, who was currently in middle school, so he needed to do things on his own. Veyna had short brown hair that came from their mother with hazel-like eyes which she got from their dad. Yet, the rest of her look looked like her mother. His mother, Diane, had brown hair that was greying faster due to stress, with kind eyes that were light grey. Almost like his, but not quite. With using some of the money from the check they get for the disability benefit, working part-time at a music store (usually on weekends, and nights during some weekdays), and making money on the side by selling weed of his own, it makes enough to keep up with the bills, getting meals for his mom and sister, and taking care of himself. His father wasn't exactly in the picture since his mother and him divorced when he was just 9 years old after his mother had his sister. He then found out he got into a car crash and passed away two years later. To keep his mind afloat, besides from weed, he's really into music. Rock specifically. Anything around the early 90's to the late 2000's. He likes garage rock, indie rock, metal rock, soft rock, just any type of rock that goes into his taste and that's why he always has his headphones with him to drown out the noise sometimes.
It's crazy for me to say this but I couldn't wait for summer to be over. Being in my house all summer made me feel like a depressed slug and I absolutely hated it. Especially with having to take care of my mother most of the time. She seems to be getting a bit better with some of the medicine I was finally able to get for her, but I know that won't last. It's only the middle of August, and like always, someone awesome is already hosting a party. Kelan, one of my friends from a few years back when I was younger was the one to tell me about it and brought me over.
Everyone that I encountered seemed so happy to see me, and it's a nicer change of scenery than my dull home. I love my family, promise, but sometimes I really do want to let loose. I was already taking advantage of the business I could make, trading a bit of my own medicine for some of the money I needed to start making for the next bill in September. But, when I found my people and got to sit in my own corner, I smoked my own roll like tomorrow was a choice, telling out new jokes to some of my people while I felt the effects already working.
"Dude, no seriously because I told you she was going to set you up, can't handle all that," I coughed out, lowering my wad of paper while my eyes watered just a bit.
One of my friends, Houston... Yes I know, the city, his parents are a little weird, had let out a loud scoff. "Yeah at least I got in there. And you can't be talking while you could barely handle what you're even smokin'." A bundle of laughs erupted from the sofa we were sitting on and I just rolled my eyes, taking in a sharp breath.
"Houston, you passed out once from one cone," Lincoln snarked, and he slammed the table, taking out his smoke really quickly, a cloud coming out before he even started talking.
"That stuff wasn't normal! It ain't my fault! Y'all just obsessed with me," Houston spat out.
"Like you were obsessed with Alyssa last year," I slid in, taking a long puff of my joint, a smirk building up on my face. One that was sharp, like always.
"Guys, she smiled at me, she definitely wants me. She wants me. Guys, me and her actually did it, she definitely loves me. Guys, she's definitely not just having fun with me. Guys, Alyssa is obviously dating me, we just...didn't talk about it much, but we're dating," I mocked, and perhaps I'm glad he's high because he probably would've cursed me out by now.
"I want you to let that shit go, I swear to-" Conner suddenly let out a loud shush like he had just been awoken even though he's been up the whole time...just amazingly silent. He then pointed towards someone from across the room.
"I see someone who's on a cloud," Conner said, letting out a short huff that was supposed to be a laugh. "Uh-oh– incoming, the plane is crashing."
