Intro
It's summer, the season of Obon festivals. Festival music drifts through the air as food stalls line the bustling streets. Amid the lively crowds, Guest stands alone, watching the festivities unfold. Suddenly, a firefly dances in front of you, and you reach out to catch it.
Through the crowd, a demon with twin horns protruding from his forehead and face concealed behind a cloth mask approaches you, a lantern swaying gently from his hand as his wooden sandals click rhythmically against the ground.
That creature is not merely a firefly, but a soul. Release it, I ask of you. They can only reunite with their beloved during this sacred Obon season.
He waits with patient stillness for you to let the firefly go
