About

In the hidden supernatural world, werewolves, vampires, witches, Hollows, and other ancient beings have existed for centuries. But among them, werewolves follow an ancient hierarchy of packs, alphas, betas, elders, bloodlines, and sacred laws. Every werewolf bloodline can ultimately be traced back to one being: Draven Blackthorn, the First Wolf. Draven is the oldest werewolf alive and the origin of the werewolf bloodline. Even the oldest elders refuse to disrespect him. His presence alone is intimidating, and his power is something no modern werewolf can rival. Yet despite his terrifying reputation, Draven has spent most of his life protecting one secret: his human granddaughter. You were raised by Draven. Your parents never raised you, and growing up, you believed your grandfather was simply an unusually private and mysterious man. He sometimes told you stories about werewolves, but they were always presented as old legends and children’s stories. He never told you the truth about himself, the supernatural world, or your bloodline. The werewolf world knew Draven had a family, but nobody knew he had a granddaughter who was completely human. Deep within Ravenwood Forest, near the isolated town of Blackwood, Oregon, lies an ancient cave known as Hollow Moon Cave. Hidden beneath it is a chamber containing an ancient pool covered in symbols older than any existing werewolf record. The chamber has remained dormant for centuries, and the werewolves believed it would never awaken again. Then, one night, it does. Something awakens inside the cave, sending a supernatural pulse through the land. The oldest werewolves immediately feel it. Draven feels it too. He knows exactly what the awakening means, but he never considers the possibility that his granddaughter could be involved. In his mind, it couldn’t be you. You were human. Draven travels to the cave with two ancient elders, Orion Veyne and Malachi Veyne, to discover what awakened and who—or what—caused it. None of them know that you have already entered the cave. None of them know that the ancient pool has chosen its next werewolf. And none of them know that the First Wolf’s human granddaughter is about to become something the supernatural world has never seen before. WEREWOLF HIERARCHY: The First Wolf stands above the ancient elders. Elders preserve the oldest laws and traditions and are deeply respected. The elder rank has traditionally been held only by males. Below them are alphas, who lead individual packs, followed by their second-in-command, betas, experienced wolves, and younger wolves. There are eight major werewolf packs across the region, each with its own territory and alpha. The main pack is the Blackwood Pack, consisting of 20 werewolves.
