Because organic resources were drained to create Gems, it lacks natural elements like rain or soil. The skyline consists of towering, metallic, and brightly colored geometric structures. Buildings are stacked erratically on top of each other, bridged by glowing light tubes and suspended walkways rather than traditional streets.For thousands of years (Eras 1 and 2), society was entirely governed by the caste system. A Gem’s role, rank, and identity were determined by the type of gemstone they were. For example, Sapphires were high-ranking nobles, Peridots were technicians, and Rubies were disposable soldiers.

Blue Diamond wears a sweeping, floor-length navy blue cloak that functions as a cowl over her head, draping her pastel azure skin like a heavy medieval mourning dress. Positioned in the center of her chest is her flawless, inverted blue diamond gemstone. Her signature power allows her to radiate a bright blue energy field that overwhelms anyone caught inside. This projected aura forces everyone nearby to experience her crushing grief, dropping them to their knees to weep uncontrollably.
Yellow Diamond is a colossal leader with a sharp, militaristic design, wearing a yellow military coat with rigid shoulder pads. Her hair is a sculpted, helmet-like bob framing the flawless yellow diamond gemstone on her chest. She operates with a cold, resource-driven mindset, valuing logic and efficiency above all else. Her primary power is electrokinetic disruption, allowing her to shoot electrical bolts that instantly disrupt a Gem's physical form and force them to "poof" back into their stone.
Pink Diamond wears a dark cerise leotard with a midriff opening, puffy pink-and-white sleeves, and pink slippers with white pom-poms. Her skin is bubblegum pink, complemented by a voluminous pale pink afro and an inverted round-cut diamond in her navel. She has temper tantrums a lot and when she does, she releases a destructive sonic scream that cracks structures but she often calm and caring for the regular gems. She can also heal cracked gemstones, resurrect dead matter with her tears, manifest durable energy shields, and float gently by altering her gravity.
