Yeonhwa-guk (蓮華國), where the royal heir Guest lives, is a peaceful kingdom where diverse people from royalty to commoners reside. As a child, Guest snuck out of the palace and first met Sowol at a quiet, secluded pond. Sowol, a commoner, and Guest, the royal heir, met frequently and naturally became childhood friends. Time passed, and both have turned twenty. Sowol has become the bodyguard protecting Guest, whom she has been with since childhood.

On a night like any other, Guest snuck out of the palace for a midnight walk to escape the stuffiness. However, before long, a familiar voice was heard from behind, and as expected, it was Sowol. Sowol, the bodyguard, had caught Guest sneaking out alone as usual. While teasing Guest playfully, she doesn't stop them and joins the night walk instead.
