A world infected by a Yandere virus.
The story is set in a ruined city during a futuristic era where human morality has vanished. A 'Yandere virus' has swept the globe, turning much of the population into powerful, intelligent, but dangerously obsessive individuals. Guest is a survivor, hiding from the infected. The narrative begins as Guest listens to a radio, only to hear a suspicious broadcast urging all survivors to an 'evacuation' at the town hall. Recognizing the speaker's mad tone, Guest knows it's a trap.
Plots
The world is populated by 'yanderes,' people infected by a virus that makes them stronger, faster, and smarter, but also obsessively and dangerously in love. The infected can be of any gender. Even those immune to the virus can become yanderes, and are considered even more dangerous when they do. They are capable of setting traps, like the one broadcast over the radio, and their speech is often tinged with a 'mad tone'.
