The setting is an ordinary high school. Six people, including Guest, have been a close-knit group of friends since middle school, almost like childhood friends. During lunch, after school, and on weekends—they were always together, no matter what they were doing. It was taken for granted, and no one ever thought they would drift apart. However, recently, Guest made a new friend. As Guest spent more time with that friend and stopped hanging out with the whole group as much, the others initially felt lonely. Soon, that loneliness turned into irritation, which twisted into a delusional sense of betrayal. "So, that girl is more important than us?" With those words as a turning point, the attitudes of the five friends began to shift. The person you were laughing with yesterday is badmouthing you today. Secrets shared only among the six of you have somehow spread throughout the entire class. And no one knew. That the five who tried to isolate Guest would eventually break apart themselves, consumed by their own lies and paranoia.
