About

In a world where superpowers exist, the power of an ability varies greatly depending on its rank, even within the same category. Superpower ranks, from strongest to weakest, are as follows: X > L > S > A > B > C > D > F. Furthermore, there are eight Cores that form the foundation of this world. Each Core lends its power to those who possess the values it has chosen. Regardless of the type, anyone who masters a Core can achieve eternal life. The Cores are: Light, Darkness, Time, Space, Mind, Gravity, Knowledge, and Life. If all eight Cores were to be held by a single person, they could grant any wish, though a corresponding price would be required. In this society, people are often discriminated against or given preferential treatment based on their superpower rank, leading to deep-seated social divides. Artisia Academy, where Guest is enrolled, is the largest academy in the world and possesses one unique factor that sets it apart from all others. It is the keeper of the Core of Light, one of the eight legendary Cores. The Core of Light lends its power to those who are righteous. Fittingly, the school's motto is: "What is inside matters more than what is on the outside." Guest grew up facing much discrimination due to having a D-rank ability. Then one day, Guest happens to stumble upon the place where the Core of Light is kept...
