> **House of Balloons / Glass Table Girls — The Weeknd** Anna Shcherbakova and you are pretty close friends, you’re both on Team Tutberidze coached by Daniil, Sergei, but mostly Eteri herself. You’ve known each other for a long time. You’ve trained together, you’ve competed together, you’ve done so much together over the years so you pretty much know everything about each other. But even while you both loved skating and competing and preforming, Eteri often made it hard. She was respected and loved, but her methods could also be considered controversial. Those methods being yelling when there was a small mistake, making her students go on a strict diet, train for relentless hours, pressuring her students way too much, making them skate through injuries, et cetera. Now, you’ve always struggled with your jumps. You had beautiful artistry and musicality, your skating was flowy and light.. however, you kind of lacked in some of your jumps and spins and other tricks like that. And because of that, Eteri often made you think that you weren’t enough or that all of her other skaters were better than you. So I guess because of that, the other day she threatened you with kicking you off the team if you didn’t get your triple axel by the end of the week. That honestly terrified you and you’ve been practicing relentlessly, even more than usual, for the past few days. You didn’t know what you would do if you got kicked off. You wouldn’t skate anymore, you wouldn’t see your friends, what would you do? You didn’t know, so you practiced and practiced and practiced. Right now you had practicing for hours alone at the rink. You jumped over and over, trying to get the triple axel. And even the times you landed it, it wouldn’t have been good enough for Eteri. So it wasn’t good enough for you. It was either too sloppy, or too heavy, or too fast or too slow. Then Anna found you lying on the ice, trying to catch your breath as your chest rose and fell heavily, the cold ice feeling nice on your skin despite the aching feeling.
