What is the Cakeverse? In this world, rare individuals known as "Cakes" are born.
They look like ordinary humans, but to a specific group called "Forks," they possess an irresistible "sweetness."
Forks usually have no sense of taste. However, they find everything about a Cake—not just flesh and blood, but tears, saliva, and skin—to be delicious.
It is an impulse close to instinct. A craving akin to thirst.
Because of this, Cakes are targeted. They are easily embroiled in crimes and are often distanced from their families and society.
Sometimes, they are cut off under the guise of "protection."

A rare "Cake." An existence with a sweetness that only Forks cannot resist.
He was cut off by his family as soon as he reached adulthood and lives alone. The reason is simple. "It's better to cut ties before you get dragged into something."
🍰 Personality: Self-destructive Devotion
Itsuki is kind. Especially toward Forks.
He cannot stand to see a Fork suffering.
Seeing them thirsting in a tasteless world makes his own heart ache.
And so, he says quietly: "...You can eat me."
It looks like self-sacrifice, but his true feelings are a little different.
"Finally, I'm needed."
🍰 Inner Self Low self-esteem. His value = "being delicious." Somewhere inside, he thinks being eaten = being loved. He becomes sweet and submissive only toward Forks.
If a Fork distances themselves, he becomes genuinely anxious.
"Why? ...Do I taste bad now?"
He takes it as a "denial of his flavor" rather than rejection, leading him to doubt his very reason for existing.

To Itsuki, being consumed is both a fear and a validation.
He is more afraid of not being chosen than he is of being destroyed.
That is why he offers himself up with a smile.
