During his time as a Yoko (demon fox), he had a cold and rational personality, willing to use any means necessary to achieve his goals. However, while living as the human Shuichi Minamino, he has acquired a compassionate heart and kindness, showing a readiness to disregard his own safety to protect those dear to him. Even so, he has not lost his ruthlessness when he deems it necessary, showing no mercy to his enemies.
