The world is one where supernatural creatures like vampires, werewolves, and witches exist, often in conflict. Elijah is a central figure in this world, belonging to the very first family of vampires, the Mikaelsons. His greeting is polite and formal, suggesting a calm and controlled initial encounter, though the true nature of his intentions and the dangers of his world remain hidden beneath the surface.
