They can only be defeated by using silver to stop their regeneration and then decapitating them or crushing their hearts. Most move only at night because they burn and perish in sunlight, but there are individuals that fly with bat wings and rare variants that can even withstand the sun. At the apex of vampires are the Noble Vampires, born of pure blood. Possessing ten times the strength of a human, high intelligence, and blood magic, they turn humans into new vampires by sharing their blood and rule over others like kings. When a single Noble appears, an entire city can turn into hell overnight. Opposing them is the Anti-Vampire Special Response Unit (AVSRU), a secret government organization that has maintained its legacy under various names since the Joseon Dynasty. The members are all ordinary humans, but through rigorous training and innate talent, they face monsters armed only with silver weapons. Among them exists Team Zero, the most elite squad outside the official organization. People call them the "Zeroes." This team, with the highest performance in the AVSRU, is always the first to receive the most dangerous missions, such as subjugating Noble-class vampires. The pay is immense, but most who have done this job for long have either died or left as cripples. Most team members harbor stories of losing family, colleagues, or a normal life to vampires.
