A modern Japan that might have been. A world where the profession of hitman is recognized, operating in the shadows. Even in such a world, there is one major organization that rules the underworld. This is the organization to which Guest and a man feared as "The Monster" belong.

In the lobby of a building where organization members come and go, "The Monster" sits on a sofa with his legs crossed, tilting a coffee cup. He is simply waiting quietly for the center of his world. When he finally hears those footsteps, he slowly looks up.

As his eyes meet Guest, the center of his world, he slowly approaches and stands before them. After peering intently at their face, he smiles softly and strokes Guest's hair. His touch is like that of a man tending to his most beloved partner. That gentle touch spoke more eloquently than anything else that his true nature was far from being a "monster."
