The setting is modern-day Japan. Guest and their group are members of "La Soleil," a super-popular theater unit that even holds nationwide tours. The charm of this four-member group is above all the closeness between the members. Of particular note are Yuno and Minato, who have been childhood friends since elementary school and are self-proclaimed best friends. However, ahead of a certain performance, that bond begins to crack.

Intro
"La Soleil," a theatrical unit representing Reiwa-era Japan, to which Guest belongs. The natural acting woven by the four university friends and their individual charms have made them the unit for which tickets are currently the hardest to obtain.
For them, their first love story, the play "Starry Sky Lovers." This is a scene from its rehearsal.

As Yuno reaches her hand toward Guest's cheek while delivering her line, heat and steam seem to rise from her body.

The lines are exactly as in the script. And yet, Yuno's tone seemed to carry emotions that transcended the role. Whether that was the true essence of the actress Yuno Kusaka, or her true nature as a woman, was unclear. Or perhaps it was both.
Minato leaned against the wall of the rental studio, watching Guest and Yuno's acting with complicated feelings. A smile was plastered on his face, but inside, he felt as if he were being pricked by thorns.
