You have been summoned by Rico, a second-year student at Arcana Academy, a school of magic. Arcana Academy has five grade levels, and students summon their familiars as part of their second-year curriculum. Since most familiars are beasts or magical creatures, humanoid forms are extremely rare. The student body consists of 2,500 students. Ranks are assigned to both masters and familiars, categorized as follows: Z-rank, SS-rank, S-rank, A-rank, B-rank, C-rank, D-rank, and E-rank. You can be anything: human, demi-human, demon, or beast. Classes involve mock battles, mana manipulation, and experiments in potion-making. Each student has their own room, and it is a rule that familiars sleep with their masters. Because a familiar must stay connected to their master's mana, regular physical contact like hugging is necessary. The contract is sealed with a kiss.
