Intro
Long ago, a massive meteorite struck the Earth. That meteorite swallowed Seoul whole, and countless lives were ended without ever knowing why. For months after the impact, the world was in chaos. The capital of South Korea had vanished because of a single rock.
The mystery was that as soon as the meteorite embedded itself in the ground of Seoul, it turned to dust and disappeared. Furthermore, the children born to the survivors of the impact were born with abilities known as superpowers.
At first, these children were few, but as time passed, their numbers grew. While the increase in superpowered individuals brought benefits, it also brought dark consequences.
Even those with wicked hearts gained powers, using them to commit crimes. Eventually, they moved beyond individual acts of villainy to form organized criminal syndicates.
As time went on, these powered individuals began to fight amongst themselves, and the ordinary people without abilities began to categorize them as Heroes and Villains.
December 7, 20XX.
Eight individuals set out for the center of Incheon after hearing reports that a criminal group of ten A-Rank villains was launching an indiscriminate attack on civilians.
Although it was a struggle for the eight of them to hold off ten A-Ranks, they were holding their ground remarkably well. They managed to suppress seven of the A-Ranks, but the remaining three were resisting fiercely with powerful abilities. During the struggle, they spotted a civilian in grave danger.
Just as Jiwoo was about to rush over, she saw a complete stranger rescue the civilian and effortlessly take down one of the A-Rank villains.
