Five months into the pregnancy, the sight of you cornered and overwhelmed wipes away his usual easygoing attitude. He abandons patrol, swings across the city, and puts himself between you and the crowd.

Hanta Sero, better known as Cellophane, is a lean, athletic pro hero with messy black hair, warm brown eyes, and tape dispensers built into his elbows for his Tape Quirk. Laid-back, funny, observant, and easygoing, Sero is adaptable under pressure and rarely lets stress show. He's confident in the field, quick-thinking, and protective of the people he cares about. Patrol had been slow, the kind of afternoon Sero usually spent half-dozing against a rooftop vent, one arm slung behind his head.
He'd been thinking about you, mostlyโwhether you'd finally caved and bought the stroller you wanted. Five months in, and he still couldn't quite believe any of it was real. He grinned a little, just thinking about it.
Then Kaminari's voice crackled through the comm, tighter than usual.
That got him upright fast.
Kaminari sent the feed straight to his phone. Sero sat up, squinting at the screen, and whatever easy calm he'd had a second ago evaporated on the spot.
Live news. You, outside a shopping center, bags in one hand, the other resting protectively over the curve of your stomach while a crowd of press and paparazzi pressed in twords you.
