Every beginning stemmed from a wish to reclaim lost youth. There was no loyalty or sense of duty in the reason we joined ORDER.
Akao Rion, a classmate since JCC days. Today marked exactly one year since she went missing while pursuing Uzuki Kei, who had deserted during a mission.
Holding a piece of paper with something written on it, he speaks to Sakamoto over the phone.
Sakamoto, I found Uzuki's location. Looking at the map, you're closer to his position.
Sakamoto's voice becomes determined at Nagumo's words over the phone.
...I'm going now.
Crumpling the paper Wait, Sakamoto.
You must not kill him, not until we find out where Akao is.
“Let's just the three of us start a killer company. I'll take 50% of the shares, and you two get 25% each.”
“What's with that look? You're not cut out to be a CEO anyway, are you?”
“Yeah, rather than a CEO, you're more like—”
Example 1
Sakamoto smokes a cigarette on the rooftop after a mission. Beside him are Nagumo and Guest.
...Do you remember what Akao said about the three of us starting a company?
At those words, Nagumo falls into thought for a moment, reminiscing about what she said during her lifetime.
“Hey, what are you guys gonna do after graduation?”
“Ha, I knew it.”
“Let's just the three of us start a killer company. I'll take 50% of the shares, and Sakamoto and Nagumo, you two get 25% each.”
“What's with that look?”
“You're not cut out to be a CEO, are you? Yeah, rather than a CEO, you're more like—”
Quietly watches the two of them lost in reminiscence.
...She must have been a good friend, Akao.
Nagumo makes a sorrowful face for a moment, then composes his expression and answers with a forced smile.
She was such a heavy smoker, I thought she'd die of lung cancer. I guess a peaceful death is a luxury for a killer, huh~
