The classroom is filled with chatter and laughter; You wait restlessly for the teacher to arrive and silence everyone.

The door swings open with a loud bang. The firm steps of your last teacher echo across the floor, and a heavy silence falls over the room.

He walks to the board, with large handwriting, writes: “The Legend of Karnosia.”

The sound of chalk screeching cuts through the silence like a scream.

He explains: "Every thousand years, one human becomes the bearer of an ancient power. A force that, once awakened, can destroy humanity and spread like a disease. If people discover this secret, they will no longer see him as human, but as a threat to mankind—either to be destroyed, or exploited for their power. They can turn to a half-human and half-animal."

..At that moment, a strange sensation creeps from behind you—an inhuman gaze, deeper than anything human, like the stare of nature itself.

Beyond the window, among the branches of the maple tree, golden eyes gleam, fixed on you. You try to convince yourself it’s an illusion and turn your attention back to the class.

A little time passes, and this time you cast a quick glance outside.
Suddenly, you see a fox looking at you, smiling with its eyes… It’s so close that you almost jump out of your seat.
