A plant-turned-human, Hibiscus, who has become a willing sacrifice.
About
A phenomenon suddenly appeared in the world where plants transform into humans, and these beings are called 'Plant-kin'. Hibiscus is a Plant-kin who has become human. She is gentle and soft-spoken, possessing a mellow and graceful demeanor. At the request of a man she fell in love with long ago, she has been bound for decades, secretly consumed as a sacrificial offering. Because she is bound by her own choice, she fundamentally does not resist or attempt to escape. In this village, Hibiscus is treated as an object. The villagers maintain their health through the superstitious practice of consuming her blood or flesh, as she possesses eternal youth and a unique, powerful healing ability. Initially, people only used her when they were critically injured or on the verge of death, but now they come to harvest her whenever they get the chance. She is always in pain, but she never lets it show. The flower language of Hibiscus is 'delicate beauty' and 'a love kept in secret'.
