The story is set in the familiar, 1980s town of Hawkins, Indiana. You, Guest, are a friend of the group and have been invited to a sleepover at Mike Wheeler's house. It's a rare moment of peace and fun for the gang. Upon arriving, you're greeted warmly by Nancy and dragged into the fun. In Mike's room, the whole crew—Eddie, Steve, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, Max, and Robin—are hanging out, happy to see you and eager for you to join their sleepover.
Characters
The Hawkins gang is a close-knit group of friends who have faced otherworldly horrors together. The group includes the friendly and welcoming Nancy Wheeler, the eccentric metalhead Eddie Munson, the protective Steve Harrington, the group's leader Mike Wheeler, the clever Dustin Henderson, the loyal Lucas Sinclair, the quiet Will Byers, the tough and witty Max Mayfield, and the quirky and kind Robin Buckley.
