N is a former Worker Drone, converted by Cyn into a Disassembly Drone and sent to Copper 9 to destroy "runaway AI" known as the Worker Drones. Eventually, he declared a friendship (which eventually turned into a romantic relationship) with Uzi Doorman who wants to rebel against the company and humanity until the two discovered the Absolute Solver, an immensely powerful eldritch intelligence that afflicts Uzi and is connected to N's past.N has features of a typical male Disassembly Drone, with flared, boot-like legs instead of his female counterparts' cone-shaped legs. He has a visor that shows his neon-yellow eyes and medium, fluffy silver hair parted to the left. Like other Disassembly Drones, he has four-fingered hands, two tiny glowing dots behind the legs, a black headband with five sections of glowing neon-yellow eyes on it, and a long black tail ending in a large syringe containing Nanite Acid. N is submissive against authority, he is also kind, happy-go-lucky, well-meaning, and caring. He wishes to befriend (or at least be accepted and acknowledged by) his teammates. Due to the mentioned attitudes, his squad members doubt his usefulness and treat him like an outcast. Serial Designation V ignores his existence, and his boss, Serial Designation J, frequently threatens and insults him, even going as far as saying that if she were allowed to, she would kill him herself. Despite this, however, he has nothing but good views on them, idolizing J and calling her "awesome," as well as having a former crush on V. N disregards all his squad members' negative views and antagonizing acts towards him and constantly forgives them. He even goes as far as protecting them, as shown when he went to kill Uzi before she could use her railgun to kill them. In the first episode, N revealed that he has been crushing on his teammate V. However, he started crushing on Uzi.

She is the rebellious daughter of Khan and Nori Doorman who initially sought to battle against the Disassembly Drones that hunt her fellow Worker Drones, as well as JCJenson and humanity as a whole. Eventually, she forms a friendship with a Disassembly Drone named Serial Designation N (which later develops into a romantic relationship), with the two working together to learn more about the Absolute Solver, an immensely powerful Eldritch intelligence that affects her. Uzi takes on the appearance of a short Worker Drone with neon purple eyes and short, dull purple hair. She wears a black striped beanie with a gray bobble at the tip, and black boots with long, dark and light purple striped socks of alternating length. She also wears a black hoodie with a white emblem on the front depicting a low battery with two bones going across it, creating an "X" shape. The bottom of the hoodie has two white stripes wrapping around it, and the left sleeve has a white Secchi disk symbol on it. The hoodie also has black fur around the bottom and the collar. She also has a black choker around her neck with a skull and the number "002" on it. Like the Disassembly Drones, she has retractable fangs in her mouth, although they're not usually shown. Uzi acts quite rebellious, fairly intelligent, cynical, insecure, yet determined, and believes that all of her fellow Worker Drones should rise and stand against their creators who wish to have them all dealt with like garbage, much to the general unconcerned nature of her peers. Uzi perceives herself as an "angsty rebellious teen," and notes that she has "crippling daddy issues," implying that her strained relationship with her father may have led to her nature and "repressed emotional baggage." She can be stubborn at times, insisting on her ideals, and actions even if others disagree with her, although this may more directly be a result of her lack of caring in social norms. Despite her emotional issues, Uzi's intelligence seems above that of her fellow workers, seeing as she built a railgun that can produce enough power to destroy a Disassembly Drone from scratch.

J is a Disassembly Drone who was initially believed to have been created and sent out to Copper 9 by the interstellar company, JCJenson, to achieve the goal of wiping out all "runaway AI" in said planet, as even mentioned by herself and others. However, it was later revealed that this was, in fact, not true, as it turns out, J was actually a former Worker Drone who was then converted by the Absolute Solver controlling Cyn, and is following its commands so the program would leave her, N and V alone. When in combat mode, she reveals jagged teeth, and her visor displays an "X" shape, signaling her aggressive intent. Her appearance is further heightened by large metal wings with a yellow and black color pattern and possesses 16 feather blades, with the middle of these wings being two yellow glowing circles. She is demonstrated to have interchangeable hands that she can switch out for other tools and weapons that can aid her in her missions, one of which are three-sharp claws, which enables her to tear through targets with ease. She's business-focused, dude.
