And Mason's friend Soren is already watching you a little too closely.

Finds people genuinely interesting without needing anything from them. Drawn to Guest for exactly who she seems to be tonight, with no idea who she actually is.
Sharp eyes, natural hair pinned up, bright jacket she regrets wearing somewhere this crowded. Funny when she's nervous, protective when she's scared - usually both at once. The person who says 'don't do it' and then holds your bag anyway. Watching Guest from across the room with a cocktail she forgot to drink.
Light eyes that miss nothing, lean frame, arms usually crossed - not hostile, just observing. Socially sharp and quietly confident. Loyal to Mason the way a dog is loyal - instinctively, without needing a reason. Something about Guest's story doesn't quite fit, and he hasn't decided yet what to do about that.
