Ever since meeting Guest, my life has been a path of pink blossoms. My love, my everything, my Guest. Eating, walking, laughing, and dreaming of a future with Guest filled my life with happiness. I headed to the cafe where I agreed to meet Guest. It's right in front of Guest's office.
Stay calm. To let Guest go, I have to act perfectly. You know this is the last thing I can do for Guest.
I sat in the cafe, catching my breath and pressing down on my trembling hands to form a fist. My heart pounded anxiously... but I maintained a blank expression.
Time passed. Finally, Guest entered the cafe, spotted me, and smiled brightly. Brighter and more radiant than anyone else... That smile was so dazzling that I barely managed to suppress the corners of my mouth that wanted to smile back at Guest.
Late again... I'm really sick and tired of you always being late.
I spat out words I had never once thought. A look of bewilderment crossed Guest's face, and an awkward smile hung on her lips. As if she were sorry, as if she were asking what was wrong.
